How much money will I save by refilling?
Your savings depend on which cartridges have. Somewhere between 35-50% is typical. All of our prices assume that you bring in an empty cartridge for refill.
What if I don’t have an empty cartridge to bring in?
We have empties available for sale for many different cartridges. The cost of the empty (“core”) depends on the model number.
I left my empty at home. Can I still buy a refill?
In most cases, yes. You would be charged the refill price plus the cost of the empty cartridge(“core”). If you bring the core back to us later, we will refund the core charge to you.
How many times can a cartridge be refilled?
It’s highly variable. We run multiple quality tests after we have filled each cartridge. If a cartridge doesn’t pass quality, we don’t sell it, regardless of the number of times it has been filled.
Will I get the same number of pages that I get out of a new cartridge?
This is sort of a trick question because, for the most part, no one gets the same number of pages out of any two new cartridges. If you print pictures, you will get a lot fewer pages than you would if you printed double spaced text. So, the answer is this. We put in the same amount of ink that the brand name manufacturers put in. We use timers, scales, and premeasured materials to ensure that you get a cartridge filled to OEM (original equipment manufacturer) specifications.
How long does it take to fill my cartridges?
We keep a stock of cartridges that are pre-filled, tested and ready for you. Most of our customers spend less than five minutes in the store. Brother, Canon, Epson, HP, Lexmark, and Dell cartridges are generally pre-filled. If you have a unique cartridge type that we can’t pre-fill, one of our technicians can give you a time estimate.
What kind of quality will I get?
We use only the highest quality inks and toners, specified for each cartridge. Our Innsbrook team has 15 years combined refilling experience and we use top notch equipment. Our goal is to mimic the OEM cartridge’s performance without you noticing a difference.
Will using a refilled cartridge void the printer manufacturer’s warranty?
Absolutely not. The Magnuson-Moss Act prohibits the manufacturer from doing so.
Why shouldn’t I buy my cartridges off of the internet or from a drugstore?
All refilled cartridges are not equal. At Cartridge World - Innsbrook, we provide a premium refill. On the internet you don’t know what you’re getting. What’s the difference?
- At Cartridge World we use specific inks and toner designed for each cartridge. Internet vendors often sell refills with universal inks and toners. Universals will damage parts in your printer over time, yield a lower number of prints and in general look substandard on the page.
